Awkward Turtle:

Hello everyone! I hope everyone has had an amazing week so far. I know I have kind of been M.I.A lately, but I am finally posting.

The past week was so much fun! I finally got my new ASUS tablet - which I am currently using - and I also had an amazing weekend. I can't describe how excited I am for every Friday night just because it means I have no school the next two days! Also, I have started counting down the weeks until spring break!

I am currently at work, but I had class just a little while ago. It is a music class - which I am taking for Gordon Rule and it's easiness - and I know tons of people in it. One of the people I know happens to be a guy I went on a few dates with girlfriend. We no longer talk, and I'm pretty sure he hates me but I didn't do anything wrong, just confronted him on one of his actions that I didn't agree with. He was trying to be sneaky, but I found out. Then he turned everything around on me...typical! Anyways, normally his woman sits with a friend or something, but today she walked right up to the seat next to mine and just plopped down. At first I was a little confused, it's not like the rest of the seats were full, but I wasn't about to get up and move or say anything. For all I know it could've been a coincidence and she may not even know who I am. Normally I see her boyfriend pick her up from class and we don't even acknowledge each other. Still the whole time in class I couldn't help but think "awkward turtle."

This got me to thinking about something my sister and I say to each other and to our friends: "it's only awkward if you make it awkward." So, while sitting in class, I tried to make the awkwardness go away by acting like she was just another person. I'm not gonna lie, a part of me wanted to talk to her and "kill he with kindness" just so she could tell the boy about her new friend she made. Can you imagine what his face would've looked like if we walked out of class talking to each other!? I would've paid to see his face. That being said, I kept my cool and was nice. There was no need for me to cause drama.

Well I still have 2.5 hours left at work, with nothing to do. Let's all hope I dont fall asleep. I hope everyone has a great rest of the day!
