Spring Break:

The week is almost over, and as the week is coming to an end, so is my spring break. My time at home has been so relaxing and I am so glad that I have had the week away from stress and school. While being home I have spent the majority of the time with family and friends whom I hadn't seen in months. While there may not be much to do in this small Polk County town, I have made the most of break by relaxing, driving around, and finding fun things to do. Today was such a fun day! As many of you may know, my family is from horse country a.k.a Kentucky. My family loves horses, so my sister and I decided to call up some friends that we go to church with that have horses and live on a bunch of land. They said we were welcome to come ride if we wanted. I hadn't been on a horse in years, so at first I was a little nervous. My nerves sooned calmed as it all came back to me--cleaning the hooves, brushing them, and riding them of course. It was so much fun! Tomorrow I have a beach trip planned wish friends and I am super excited.

Coming home has made me realize a lot. Many of you may or may not know that I am majoring in psychology and want to work with children. I had first planned to get my MD and become a psychiatrist, then decided to settle for a PhD, but then further decided I didn't want to be in debt the rest of my life so I changed my mind yet again. The past few weeks I have been trying to decide what exactly to do with the degree I am working on. I have really been worried about this, seeing as how I don't want to waste time or money. I just don't know what to do and coming home has made me think about it even more. I have been praying to God and asking him to lead me to the plans he has for me and to help me not worry. I know he will take care of me and help me in my decision.

Also while being home I have been looking forward to the months ahead! Within the next month and a half a lot of festivities will be occuring. My birthday is in the beginning of April and school gets out at the end of April. The first week of May I will be heading to Kentucky and having what I hope will be a blast as it always is. I have so much to be thankful for and I am so blessed. I am excited for the next few days but dread heading back to school. Thanks for reading and check back for my next update!
