Sunshine State:

Living in Florida is great--most of the time. About this time of year, the cooler weather is starting to fade and it starts to get warmer. As mentioned, some friends and myself headed to the beach yesterday hoping for nice weather, I mean it has been nice practically all week, so a beach day sounded perfect. Thursday night however, the disappointment started. We checked the weather and it was supposed to be sunny, however the high was only 67 degrees. Cool weather like that is not something that us Florida girls are used to. We decided to make the best of it though and try to tuff it out. Waking up yesterday morning I put on my bathing suit, shorts, a tank-top-tee, and grabbed a jacket. Right when I opened the door to leave I knew the possibility of us going to the beach and actually staying was slim. Morgan and I headed to our friends house to meet up with the other girls and be on our way. We decided to still go ahead and venture to the beach and see if it was warmer when we got there. An hour or so later we arrived. While driving up we saw people walking around, but there was a big difference between them and all of us girls. The people walking were all wearing long sweat-pants and hooies or jackets, where we were all wearing shorts and tee-shirts. Since we had driven all the way we decided we might as well actually see the ocean and possibly take a picture for proof that we actually went. We got our picture then ran back to the car and decided to go shopping--what a great alternative.

Today was a great day full or relaxing. I was hoping to clean my car out and wash it, this did not get checked off of my to do list. Tomorrow I am heading back to Tallahasse and starting school again on Monday. Though I am not looking forward to this, it will be good to see my friends. School will be out in a little less than two months and then finally, summer will be here! I hope everyone had a great week and has another great week ahead of them!
